The Boardroom

The real Premier League's chaos, measured in fantasy points. A record-chasing eleven managerial departures tore through six clubs this season — and every sacking rippled into our league. Who actually produced under whom, what a new boss is worth in fantasy output, and the real table beside the fantasy one.

01 — The Merry-Go-Round

Twenty Dugouts, Thirty-Eight Weeks

Every club's season as a managerial timeline. Fourteen clubs never blinked; the other six burned through coaches — none faster than Forest's four.

One cell per gameweek, coloured by who picked the team. Caretakers hatched in the legend.

02 — The Sack Bump

Does Firing The Manager Work?

Club fantasy output (all its players' FPts, every gameweek) in the five weeks either side of each change. Grey bars = old regime, blue = new. The letters underneath are the real results.

03 — Same Player, Different Boss

The Manager Effect on Players

Fantasy FP/G under each manager, for players with at least 3 appearances per stint. Descriptive, not causal — fixtures, injuries and form all change across a sacking. But some of these gaps are hard to argue with.

The Player Lab — pick any four

Weekly fantasy points with the dugout shaded behind them — gold lines are each era's FP/G average (played weeks only). Search any of the 535 players with a 2025/26 appearance.

04 — The Manager Board

Fantasy Output Per Dugout

Every coach who picked a Premier League XI this season: real record vs the fantasy points their squad generated per game. Squad quality drives this more than coaching — read it as "how much fantasy juice flowed through each regime."
